Occupational Fraud 2024: Insights and Acknowledgments from John Warren, JD, CFE

John Warren, JD, CFE, proudly introduces the 13th edition of the ACFE's "Occupational Fraud 2024: A Report to the Nations." This latest edition, drawing on analysis of over 20,000 cases of occupational fraud since 1996, underscores the extensive and costly nature of occupational fraud worldwide, with losses estimated in the trillions annually. The report highlights the indispensable role of Certified Fraud Examiners (CFEs) in combating this pervasive threat across all industries and regions. Inspired by ACFE founder Dr. Joseph T. Wells, the report aims to deepen understanding of the mechanisms, costs, and prevention of occupational fraud, equipping CFEs with comprehensive insights necessary for their critical work.

Offered to business and government leaders, anti-fraud professionals, and the public, the report aims to enhance collective defenses against the detrimental effects of occupational fraud.
